    Main trends of scientific activity: study, introduction and conservation of Geophytes of Caucasus, biodiversity of rare and endangered grass plants and organization of genofound.
    Main scientific results: The bioecology of rare and endangered plants was studied and the agrotechnical methods of using perspective species in greening of Azerbaijan Republic were elaborated. About 500 Geophytes in Absheron conditions were collected, 125 species of this collection are included into "Red book", and more than 250 species are offered to use in economy.
    He has been working at popular medicine field more than 45 years. He is author of 150 scientific publications, 3 monographs, 3 brochures from series of medicinal plants, 5 books on floriculture and he is also co-author of "Red book" and Azerbaijan Soviet Encyclopedia.

    Main trends of scientific activity: bioecology, introduction and conservation of genetic resources of decorative trees and bushes from local and other flora.
    Main scientific results: As a result of many years study on introduction of trees and bushes species registered in different floras perspective plants and botanical-geographical regions of the world were defined for introduction to Azerbaijan. Introduced perspective species from the same regions and local flora were investigated, their bioecological properties were studied and growing agrotechnics were elaborated and suggested for using them it in the greening.
    He was director of CBG about 23 years (1957-1980).
    He is author of 170 scientific publications, 12 brochures and co-author of 7 volume of Azerbaijan Soviet Encyclopedia.

    Main trends of scientific activity: Selection, study, introduction and application of new perspective tropical and subtropical plant species for internal and external green construction.
    Main scientific results: Morphogenesis, ecology-history conditions of the species formation and also florogenetic relations with local and Caucasus flora of 200 species were revealed for the first time. The perspective sources for introduction of new species to dry subtropics condition were discovered.
    He is author of 68 scientific publications.

    Main trends of scientific activity: Study and economy application of wild and cultural plants species and kinds.
    Main scientific results: The collection of about 400 rose kinds adapted to Azerbaijan climatic and soil condition has created for the first time. Growth agrotechnics of 86 sorts of this collection in Azerbaijan have elaborated. As a result of buds mutations the new rose kinds - Asrin mugavilasi, Sari gelin, Nazperi - have produced. It was proved that R.bicolor is indigenous for Azerbaijan.
    He is author of 32 scientific publications.
